Until
recently, the only way to produce concentrated nutrient
formulations was to use a suspension of insoluble salts -
concentrated, but hardly available to the plant through the
leaves.
Jett (200 g/l manganese) and Magnesium Super 80 (80 g/l
magnesium) are market leaders, and are currently being used in
several countries around the world.
Their
high concentration gives the instant benefits of less handling,
less packaging and less storage, but that's not all.
Nitrates are used by the plant much more efficiently;
Headland trials confirm that 100 grams of manganese from a nitrate
source is a useful to the plant as 120-125 grams of manganese
derived from sulphates
In
addition, the special surfactants used in these products result in
very stable formulations that are compatible with a great many
pesticides, nutrients and plant growth stimulants.
